Employees and employers

- Drivers and passengers of delivery vehicles, as well as employees working in the blue zone, must hold a G7 Pass.
- Employers had to make sure every affected employee applied for their pass before June 7. Adapted working hours are recommended to absorb checkpoint waiting times and longer journeys.
- Accepted supporting documents: employment contract, mission letter, care contract, employer certificate stating the employer and the work address within the perimeter, or professional card.

Heavy goods vehicles

- From June 11 to June 13 at 10:00 pm: traffic allowed without restriction.
- From June 13 at 10:00 pm to June 14 at 10:00 pm: usual Sunday restrictions, ban for all heavy goods vehicles.
- June 15, 16 and 17: daytime ban from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Vehicles under 19 tonnes may drive at night.
- No vehicle over 19 tonnes is allowed from June 13 at 10:00 pm to June 17.
- Specific restrictions target dangerous goods transport throughout the blue zone, before and during the summit.

Deliveries and supplies

- Night deliveries remain possible during the three summit days for vehicles under 19 tonnes.
- The préfecture strongly recommends that shopkeepers stock up in advance as much as possible.

Shopkeepers and restaurant owners

- Shops may stay open in all areas concerned. No closure is imposed in the blue zone.
- No compensation is planned, since no closure is imposed. For businesses whose activity would not be possible or who choose to close, a partial unemployment scheme can be deployed: ddets-activite-partielle@haute-savoie.gouv.fr.
- Terrace operating conditions in the blue zone will be specified later, depending on security requirements.
- The Évian-les-Bains market is maintained on Friday June 12.
- Two prefectural orders also regulate fuel reservation (n°PREF-CAB-SIDPC-2026-0143) and the purchase, sale and transport of fireworks, explosives and flammable fuels (n°PREF-CAB-G7-2026-0018).

Tradespeople and worksites

- The G7 Pass is mandatory for entitled persons in the blue zone, including professionals working at client premises (proof of work required with the application).
